I graduated with a B.S. in Communication from Appalachian State University, where I excelled in copywriting, AP style, and content creation. I also earned multiple certifications from HubSpot Academy, demonstrating my proficiency and passion for social media strategies. I have recently become certified in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Marketing and am also familiar with email marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software's such as Salesforce, working with Adobe Creative Suite for a number of reasons including graphic design, copywriting, AP Style, feature writing and Microsoft Office. As a proactive and detail-oriented professional, I thrive in dynamic environments where I can collaborate with innovative teams. My goal is to continuously enhance my skills and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact.

As a professional, I've had experience at different organizations, all where I've been tied to marketing, client relationship management, social media and more. I'm a proactive and detail-oriented individual, who is outgoing and exceeds at fostering lasting client connections. I'm excited to work with innovative teams and drive results that go beyond expectations.

I believe in continuing to learn and grow and I aim to challenge myself and take online certification courses to keep myself as knowledgeable as possible. Currently, I am working on the Google Data Analytics Certification.

  The Cottages of Doom It is that time of the year in Boone when students living off campus must choose to renew their lease or search for alternative places to live.  With 70% of Appalachian State University students living off campus, according to U.S. News, they are in a race against their peers, as well as future sophomores, to either renew or sign with a different housing company. Many students, like Avery Miller, ask themselves certain questions before making their final decision.  “I asked myself if I was receiving the best quality of housing and services from management and the answer to that was no,” Avery said. “I made the decision to move from The Cottages of Boone to Highland Crossing.
